Helen Peabody, beauty operator and author, was born in Auburndale, Mass., August 9, 1898. She received her A.B. from Radcliffe (1921) and did graduate work at Radcliffe (1922-1923) and at the Yale Drama School (1923-1924). She played in off-Broadway shows, was a make-up artist, and then teacher at the Cosmetic Institute in New York City.
